Privacy notice
Formula to Exit is a service of Ecoformix Ltd, a company registered in Northern Ireland (company number NI712157) with its registered office at 48 Bachelors Walk, Lisburn, County Antrim, BT28 1XN. Ecoformix Ltd is the data controller for the personal data described here. You can reach us at hello@formulatoexit.com.
What we collect
- When you request a call: your name, company, email address, phone number, what you make, how you sell today, and anything you type in the notes box.
- When you email us: your email address, name and the content of your message.
- When you buy a study: the details above plus your billing details and the product and sales information you choose to give us for the study. We never ask for formulations or recipes.
- When you visit the site: Cloudflare, which hosts the site, records standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) for security and to keep the site running. We do not run advertising or analytics cookies on this site at present. If that changes, this notice will be updated and you will be asked for consent first.
Why we use it, and the lawful basis
- To arrange and hold your qualification call, and to deliver a study you have bought. This is taking steps at your request before entering a contract, and performing that contract (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
- To reply to your questions and keep a record of what we discussed. Our legitimate interest in running the business and keeping accurate records (Article 6(1)(f)).
- To keep the site secure and detect spam. Our legitimate interest in protecting the service (Article 6(1)(f)).
- To keep accounting records. Our legal obligations under UK company and tax law (Article 6(1)(c)).
We do not send marketing email to people who have only requested a call. If we ever want to, we will ask first.
Who we share it with
- Cloudflare, Inc. hosts the site, routes email to us and runs the form. Data may be processed in the EU and the United States under Cloudflare's standard contractual clauses.
- Resend, Inc. sends the confirmation email you receive after using the form. We use its EU region where available.
- Our email and document tools (Google Workspace) hold our correspondence and the study documents.
- Our accountants and payment provider see billing details when you buy a study.
We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with anyone else unless the law requires it.
How long we keep it
- Call requests and correspondence: up to 24 months after our last contact, then deleted.
- Study documents and the information you gave us for them: for the length of our relationship and up to six years afterwards, because they may be needed for accounting and any dispute.
- Server logs: Cloudflare's standard retention, normally a matter of days.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your personal data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to our use of it, ask us to restrict it, or ask for it in a portable format. Email hello@formulatoexit.com and we will reply within one month. If you are not happy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes
If we change this notice we will post the new version here with a new date at the top.
